I have a new card to share for the CAS on Friday Masculine Card Challenge. My Dad's birthday is this month, so the timing was perfect!
I like the look of the darker to lighter shades of stripes. I layered a few die cuts to create a slight shadow and add dimension. This card was really easy to put together. It's a great way to use scraps too.
CAS on Friday Challenge #224 Male
Here's a card that was pretty easy to make. I like that this sentiment doesn't box you into an occasion. Any occasion is a good time to tell someone that you're grateful for them. My favorite supply on this card is the drywall joint tape behind the heart. I don't use that very often, but I think I should use it more. It adds a nice texture to the card. I've included a list of supplies below.
I'm including this card in the Splitcoast Stampers CAS card challenge #675 Have a Heart.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card!
I was so excited to learn that my Hot Beverage - Get Well Card was selected as a one of the top 3 in the CAS on Friday Feel Better Challenge. It's only fitting that I made a Thank You card for the next challenge. The theme for this challenge is Hexagons. I designed the hexagon background in Cricut Design Space, masked the frame of the hexagon with washi tape and then used the spritzer tool to apply a light coat yellow. Supplies are listed below.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card today. CAS on Friday Challenge is linked below.
It's a cold snowy January day here in Michigan so it only makes sense that I'd make a boating themed card.
I used the Cricut to cut out the stripes, anchors and draw the sentiment. I cut the anchor out 3 times and glued the pieces together to give it more dimension. I also used foam squares to adhere the anchor to the card.
Thanks for checking out my card today!
I used this week's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for the layout.
Happy New Year and Welcome to the new Julie Makes Cards Blog!
I've got a clean and simple Get Well Soon card to share today.
The layout for this card is from this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I used the adorable coffee cup image from Cricut Design Space to play along with the Cupcake Inspirations coffee/tea time challenge. I also wanted to play along with the CAS on Friday Feel Better challenge and the cup with the little heart is a perfect fit for a get well card. I chose to keep the cup white so it would draw attention to the red heart.
Supplies:
Image: Cricut Teacup (#M13320D4) - print then cut
Stamps: Hero Arts Get Well Soon
Accessories: Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die, foam squares, Shuttle Art Dual Tip Alcohol Based Art Markers
Here are the links to the challenges.
